Hmm, item server is still fubar'd, SPUF's official downtime announcement mentions that the item server didn't agree with a Steam server update, but it's been down for close to three hours now, wonder what's going on

Both teams got 1 cap in the first minute, but then for the next 15 minutes nothing happened. The last two caps both happened within a minute and now need "need" a scramble.

Because the item server is a little wacky I was "forced" into use the Spy-icle. It's not too shabby.

The Ville Warpath Cup 2012 Your captains for the warpath cup will be:

Crimson Shooting StarTeams - Sign Ups Closed. Captains will then be selected and a draft will take place on 2/25/12. Matches will be played on 3/3, 3/4, 3/10, 3/11 /3/17, 3/18. Games will be played at 7CST , 8CST, 9CST We will have 5 teams for the cup, and 3/17 + 3/18 will be last matches + finals. Highlander - Each team will consist of 9 players, one of each class. Weapon load outs will be at the players discretion. Records - Will be determined by wins. Wins are achieved by having more cap outs than your opponent. In the case of no cap outs capture points will be used as a tie breaker (not including initial CP2), if capture points are also tied then team points will be added and the team with the highest score will receive a win. Round Robin - All Teams will play each other once, the finals match will be determined by record. In case of a tie in records, total capture points will be added and used as a tie breaker (not including initial CP2). A tie in the finals will use the same tie breaking rules as round robin games. Substitutions - Can be made at any point in the game, and must be a player from your roster. If a player is being subbed it is the captains responsibility to screenshot the exiting players score. If a player disconnects, then demos will be reviewed to ensure that proper points are awarded for that team in case of a tie breaker. Classes - Players can switch classes during any match. Note, due to the class limits on the server, players will have to coordinate a switch at the same time. Rounds - Two 20 minute rounds will be played, at the end of the rounds a winner will be determined based on cap outs, capture points, or the sum of all player points. Whichever comes first. There will be a five minute break between rounds. Normal Ville Rules Apply - All players will be subject to the rules of The Ville. Respect your fellow teammates and opponents. Violation of these rules will result in a warning and then a kick, all points for a player kicked will be forfeit. Now that you have read the rules if you are interested in participating please post below with the following information. Player / Captain / Reserve The three classes you would prefer to play, in order. For Example Player Pyro / Medic / Heavy. Pyro being your favorite, medic second, and heavy third. Please note that virtually all communication for this event is done via the forums. It is important to stay active and be aware of any changes to the event. Near the top of the page click on User Control Panel > Edit Profile. You will see an option to input a STEAM ID, go ahead and post your steam ID in there so that we can hunt down your steam profiles if need be. It needs to be input as such STEAM_0:0:271350 (obviously with your own ID) the whole thing.
